Our Story
TaxStory was born from a simple observation: tax professionals spend too much time on administrative tasks and not enough time providing strategic value to clients. As CPAs ourselves, we experienced the frustration of trying to communicate complex tax concepts to clients who just wanted clear answers.
After one particularly challenging tax season in 2023, where we found ourselves creating the same explanations over and over, we decided there had to be a better way. What if technology could help us be better communicators and advisors?
We started by building the Tax Return Video Generator to transform dense tax returns into easy-to-understand video explanations. The response from clients was overwhelming—they finally understood their returns.
Next, we tackled tax projections with our Tax Projection Tool, making it simple to provide clients with year-round tax planning guidance instead of waiting until April.
Today, hundreds of tax professionals use TaxStory to deliver better client service, and we're just getting started.
